Fun toys. Reminds me of my childhood.
Guns feel nice with added metal weight in the grips and the robot modes are goofy silly. I like the it!
These are decent. Typical chinese plastic joints that you got to be careful with. The robot modes are meh... They are guns that change into robots .. how could you not like that? Not since the original Megatron have we had that. These are not that large though , these are the size of the mini transformers. For the money though it is a cool novelty item for Transformer or GoBot collectors to keep around.
I have to admit I had my doubts on this set however these are pretty solid in weapon form. I’m not form they are fairly good. Have not attempted combiner mode as of yet but nice for display as weapons for some combiners I have.
The gun modes for these figures all look great, which is nice. Transformations are fairly straightforward and enoyable. The robot modes aren't bad, given the constrains of the size, but some joints are incredibly loose (e.g., the legs of the silver revolver just flop around and standing is a challenge). The figures are a mix of diecast metal and plastic bits, which sounds nice in practice, but really only serves to make the joints loose, increase weight, and make posing more of a challenge (due to the uneven use of metal parts throughout the body). The combined mode is a complete lost cause, however. The joints that are supposed to attach the limbs are simple pegs with no reinforcement, and the added weight of the metal pieces makes an already unstable combined mode even more unstable. The combined mode is like a house of cards: touch it and it all falls apart.Overall, for an adult collector who doesn't care about the combined mode and just wants a quirky 3rd party toy, this isn't a bad option.
